Description
Global-In Fellowship (GIF) is a three-week international youth project, providing its participants with an opportunity to develop a commitment to international cooperation, and to enhance diplomatic as well as leaderships skills. After a cultural program on the arrival weekend, the workshop-week begins. Four workshops will be held based on the following topics: politics, economics, media and law. The evening program of the first week will train your rhetorical skills.
In the second week, a Model United Nations (MUN) conference will be held. Every participant will assume the role of a representative from a UN member state. In the Security Council and the Human Rights Council, you will draft solutions for actual, real-world problems. The third weekend is themed “National Socialism” and shall educate the participants about the Third Reich and the Holocaust. The third week is a creation of the Global-In Fellowship: A post-world war simulation in which only a few states remain intact. The political structures and the infrastructure have been completely wiped out and it is now up to remaining survivors to create a new framework of world order. The participants take on roles as survivors with varying roles and characteristics. Their goal is to rebuild the political systems in their countries and an intergovernmental organization. But: how and with what system? It is simply up to the participants’ imagination!
